Another early morning travel experience led us to Changdu.
We went to get some lunch at this cool place that had a tomb somewhere but we didn’t find it. Note Paul’s disappointment.
We did find some revolting food like bunny heads and grubs.
Delicious food like smoked tofu and pomegranates.
And I got comfortable beside this giant cauldron.
There were turtles and other neat buildings and “features”:
The gig was in a fairly modern hall and we had a really terrific sound person as well as a sold out room.
Our tour manager Leon was just back from Africa where he got this amazing 50 billion dollar bill. Which I think he said would buy you a single egg. Or maybe half of one?
Still was the first time I had held that much money!
