I have been playing the drums since 1985. Seems like a long time on paper but it has flown by. Before that I played some piano and even less clarinet…. I have toured with many different bands playing all sorts of different styles of music all over Europe, Canada and the US. I feel very lucky to have worked with so many talented people and that my love of making music has grown as the years roll by.
I was born in New Zealand (’72) and raised on the west coast of Canada. Some of the folks I have worked with are Michael Kaeshammer, David Vest, The Paperboys, Kendel Carson, David Gogo, Jim Byrnes, Toni Childs, Paul Laine, Marc Atkinson, Paul Pigat, Tom Landa, MoBadass, Dustin Bentall, Kenny “Blues Boss” Wayne, Pat Coleman, The Twisters, Bob Murphy, Danger Danger, George Koller, Gary Comeau, Louise Rose, Phil Dwyer, Tyler Yarema, Brooke Maxwell….
I maintain a busy schedule playing both live and studio dates with my own trio and as a freelance musician. I also teach privately at my home studio and the Victoria Conservatory of Music as part of the music diploma program. (Business of Music, Combo Classes, Jazz Percussion)
